It can be done

Was the catchphrase of the last mission president.

So Ruth will be baptised on Friday!!! WOOOO
We're absolutely ecstatic for her, and she's excited, though quite nervous. Dave is also progressing well, and just needs to realise that he already knows that it's true... But it will come with time.

Not much else exciting happened, but I made Blackies! (as elder goldie calls them) Basically me just throwing together things to mildly resemble pancakes. I also made biscuits (american biscuits, that is) which went over pretty well! I had ran out of bread for my peanut butter, and desperately wanted something to spread it on. So I made blackies, then biscuits. :)
Here's another beautiful sunset. The image wasn't half as vivid as the real thing. :/ But know that I value beauty!

Dave and Ruth were at church again!

This week, the library computers aren't working, and I have no time.
But! Suffice it to say this week was great. Ruth wants to be baptised, and Dave is progressing very well!

Love ya's!

Cheerio!

Here's me in Dave's old chef outfit!

The Little Miracles

West Scotland met up (about a fourth of our mission) and we had a conference with elder Herbertson, one of the 70. It was brilliant, and I felt the spirit so strongly - I seem to be particularly susceptive to music...

Dave and Ruth ordered us food from a chippy one random time when we went over! It was brilliant! And thank you for keeping Dave and Ruth in your prayers! They finally came to church! Though both were a bit apprehensive beforehand, they both really enjoyed the experience, and are keen on coming again!

I also have been getting a testimony of fast offerings. I had never really paid them beforehand, but now that I prep my own food, I pay them. The first time, I mostly just threw in my spare change, and sent it off. Then, I realised I could really send a lot more! So these last few months, I've been sending in a much larger sum, and have really seen miracles from it! People have just been giving us food left and right, it seems! From people ordering food, to just handing us food, having us over for food, etc... It just comes from everywhere.
So turns out the church is true. :)

Thanks for writing me! Sorry if I haven't written long responses to all your letters! I really like even just a few lines - it's really nice to know that you're still alive and well. :)

Enjoy life, my friends! :D Cheers!

"oil is most often compressing on the other side of the line"

is a line from one of my many vivid dreams this week. 0-0 It was alongside a few other inspirational quotes, saying good things are to come soon.

So this week was alright. A few investigators haven't been progressing since we haven't seen them, and they've been busy.
But Dave and Ruth have been doing swimmingly! They had a tour of the church building, and they both really liked it! Ruth was religious before, but felt especially at home there. For Dave, it was the first church he actually felt comfortable in! And both are reading the book of mormon daily, so they're believing more and more that it's true. :)

Thank you all for your prayers and positive influence you've had in my life! :D I love yous!
Enjoy life, my friends!

For your entertainment, here's a picture of a doll a dad drew for his niece... He thought it looked pretty good. XD
